The Second Workshop on Human-Informed Translation and Interpreting Technology (HiT-IT 2019)

5 and 6 September 2019 in Varna, Bulgaria

We are pleased to announce the Second Workshop on Human-Informed Translation and Interpreting Technology. HiT-IT 2019 is a follow-up of the successful HiT-IT workshop (http://rgcl.wlv.ac.uk/hit-it/), which took place in Varna, Bulgaria in parallel to the international conference RANLP 2017. The workshop will be organised in conjunction with RANLP 2019 in Varna, Bulgaria.

We are pleased to announce that Yves Champollion from WordFast, Vilelmini Sosoni from Ionian University, Greece and Carla Parra Escartín from Unbabel, Portugal have agreed to give invited talks at our workshop. In addition, Ruslan Mitkov from University of Wolverhampton will give a special workshop presentation about The world’s first Erasmus Mundus Master’s programme in technology for translation and interpreting and the new generation of translators and interpreters.
